With the expansion of its airport (TPQ), Nayarit seeks to position itself as the number one luxury destination in Mexico. With an investment of 2.2 billion pesos, the Riviera Nayarit International Airport will undoubtedly be the new gateway that will take you through the state of Nayarit and the paradise of Nuevo Nayarit.
The process of remodeling and expanding the Airport facilities began in 2022 and will conclude in 2024, simultaneously with infrastructure projects such as the new highway that places the Riviera Nayarit tourist corridor just 40 minutes away from the International Airport in the city of Tepic.

Currently, Tepic airport offers one daily flight to Mexico City through AeroMéxico and seven Tepic-Tijuana flights with the airline Volaris.
