The Nayarit State Ministry Tourism , located at Avenida México and Calzada del Ejército s/n, Ex-Convento de la Cruz, Colonia Centro, Tepic, Nayarit, in accordance with Articles 6, sections II and III, and 16, second paragraph, of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States; Article 7, section XII, and paragraph 6, sections B and C, of the Political Constitution of the State of Nayarit; Articles 3, sections 11, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 of the General Law on the Protection of Personal Data in the Possession of Obliged Subjects; Article 3, section II, and Articles 4, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data in the Possession of Obliged Subjects for the State of Nayarit; Articles 82, paragraphs one and two, 89, 91, and 92 of the Law on Transparency and Access to Public Information of the State of Nayarit; and Articles 31, 34, and 36 of the Regulations of the Law on Transparency and Access to Public Information of the State of Nayarit, hereby informs you of the following:

The personal data that may be subjected to processing are the following:
- Identification data: Name, marital status, RFC, CURP, voter registration number, passport number, place and date of birth, age, nationality, handwritten and electronic signature, photograph.
- Contact information: Address, phone numbers, and personal email address.
- Financial data: Real and personal property, income and expenses, tax information.
- Employment data: Job, work experience, recruitment and selection documents, appointment, incidents, training, references, and work history.
- Academic data: Grades, degrees, professional license, certificates, and recognitions.
The Ministry does not process sensitive personal data unless it obtains your express consent. Sensitive personal data refers to information that reveals your most intimate sphere or whose improper use could lead to discrimination or pose a serious risk to you. This includes:
- Ethnic or racial origin, ideology, political opinion, union affiliation, religious or philosophical beliefs or convictions, physical, moral, or emotional characteristics, affective or family life, physical and mental health status, medical history, and sexual orientation.
- Other similar data that affects your privacy, could lead to discrimination, or whose disclosure or transfer to third parties could pose a risk to you. The personal data you provide will only be used for purposes that are adequate, relevant, and strictly necessary for the purpose that justifies its processing, in accordance with the procedures or services to be provided based on the powers granted to the Ministry by Article 39 Bis of the Organic Law of the Executive Power of the State of Nayarit; Article 9 of the General Tourism Law; Article 7 of the Law for the Promotion of Tourism in the State of Nayarit; and the Internal Regulations that establish the attributions of each of the areas of this Department.
Personal data processing may be carried out purposes such as:
- To register and respond to Requests for Access to Information or Rights.
- To enter into collaboration, coordination or agreement agreements.
- To enter into a contract for the acquisition of goods or the provision of services.
- To receive and register proposals for the acquisition of goods or services.
- To accredit Tourist Guides.
- Registration in the national tourism registry.
- To guide users of tourist services in the presentation of complaints.
- To generate employment records and verify the requirements of Public Servants of the Secretariat of Tourism for the purposes of personnel administration.
- To integrate the files of Social Service and Professional Practice providers.
- To prepare and register verification records for tourism service providers.
- To register and identify the participants in training and updating courses, workshops and seminars on tourism matters.
- To provide refresher courses for tourist guides to manage the obtaining and delivery of M, H distinctions.
- To identify, register and verify the profile of the beneficiaries of the program of Tours within the State.
- To integrate files of entrepreneurs or businessmen to advise and link them.
- To generate statistics, studies or diagnoses in tourism matters.
In accordance with articles 82, 89, sections I and VI of the Law on Transparency and Access to Public Information of the State of Nayarit, the Secretariat of Tourism protects the use, processes, modifications and transmissions to which confidential information is subject, and specifically the personal data of an identified or identifiable natural person.
The holder of the confidential information has the right to access, rectify, modify, correct, replace, oppose, delete or expand their confidential information data.
The transfer to third parties of their personal data will necessarily require their authorization, except in the exceptional cases provided for in article 85 of the aforementioned Law, the designation of those responsible, as well as their defense and protection.
