How to get to the Mexican Pacific paradise?
Due to its geographical location, Nayarit has some of the busiest paradise beaches in Western Mexico; in recent years it has become the favorite destination for for locals and foreigners alike.
In terms of air connectivity, Nayarit has two important arrival points, the first one is the Aeropuerto Internacional Amado Nervo, in the state capital; and the second is the Aeropuerto Internacional Gustavo Díaz Ordaz, in Puerto Vallarta.
As for land connectivity, the state capital can be reached from any point in Mexico that has the Tepic Bus Station as it’s destination.
Any of the sun and beach destinations are relatively within driving distance. If you are in Tepic, the Nuevo Nayarit area is three hours away, while the port of San Blas is half an hour away. If you arrived in Puerto Vallarta, Nuevo Nayarit is less than 40 minutes away.
Getting to Tepic from the capital of Mexico can also vary in duration, however, by air it takes less than 50 minutes, while by land, it can take up to eight hours in the Federal Highway 15. Following that same highway, the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco can be found about an hour and a half away.
