Sustainable hospitality, the new bet for tourism in Nayarit

As part of the actions to strengthen the environment and new sustainability strategies, Nayarit joined the Hotel Basics initiative of the World Travel and Tourism Council, which seeks to take an important step towards the care of natural environments and respect for the communities.

With this, the hotel industry installed in the entity will have the obligation to work under sustainability criteria, such as: reducing energy and water consumption, reducing carbon emissions, protecting the environment and contributing positively to the environment and it’s communities.
