Ahuacatlán is one of the four Magical Towns that make up the tourist corridor in southern Nayarit, home to the only bullfighting festival in the state.
On October 4th, the bullfighting event with the most tradition and roots in Nayarit takes place.
Historically known as a stopover for travelers along the Royal Road, which connected the Port of San Blas to Guadalajara.
It is located at the foot of the El Ceboruco volcano, offering tours, trails, and beautiful landscapes for adventure tourism enthusiasts. Additionally, it is known for its delicious traditional sweets, such as mango cajeta, produced in its municipal seat.

How to Get to Ahuacatlán
You can reach Ahuacatlán from Tepic or Guadalajara via Federal Highway 15 or the Jala-Compostela highway, with travel times of approximately one hour.
